Students at Les Roches International School of Hotel Management will provide catering services for participants in the 2013 Valais Women’s Cup.
This international football tournament, organised by Matchworld Football and held in the Swiss canton of Valais, attracts competitors from all over the world. Teams from Brazil (ranked 4th by FIFA), China, Mexico, and New Zealand will play each other at Châtel-St-Denis on September 22 and the final will take place at Savièse on September 25. The participation of Marta from Brazil, is a particular draw to football fans. Marta is ranked one of the world’s top players and won FIFA’S World Player of the Year Award five times between 2006 and 2010.
On September 23, Les Roches campus in Bluche will host a 5-star celebration dinner for the players and tournament staff, numbering 150 people in total. Hotel management students and their instructors will prepare and serve the meals, which feature Swiss and Valais specialties.

The guests will have the opportunity to visit the Les Roches campus, located next to the famous ski resort of Crans-Montana, and to discover all that Switzerland has to offer in the surrounding area.
